    add flax to breakfast?

    I'm bulking right now, trying to get in 6,000 cals a day (not quite there yet). Anyways, for breakfast, I'm eating 6 egg whites, 1/2 cup of oats and a protein shake, but I'd like to add some more calories to it. Thing is, is that I just can't eat anymore than that at one time (weak stomach, I know). I know that flaxseed oil is high in calories, and I know a lot of you guys on here use it (for whatever the purpose may be). Could I add flaxseed oil to my shake to get my extra calories?

    It would be an option, depending on how your body reacts to combining macros... I'm real paranoid about mixing macros, rather safe than sorry I figure.

    Out of curiousity what are your stats to need 6000 cals?

    It seems like it would be VERY difficult to get down 6000 cals when 1/2 cup of oats, eggs, and protein is tough...

    When I was bulking I was eating 2 cups (160 g) of oats, and sixish egg whites for breakfast... that was for a diet eating 8 times a day for around 4000-4500 cals.

    I would up the carbs if I were you and force them down. Or grind them up in a coffee grinder and get them down that way, lot less filling.

    Thanks for the reply. I am 5'8", 185-90 lbs. @ about 13% bf. No, you're right, I don't need that many calories to grow, but I'm going on a bulking cycle in a couple weeks and I would like to gain some earth-shaking mass off of it. I've always been one of those guys that can eat a bunch of fattening foods and not gain much fat. I also work manual labor, so a few cals are burnt up during the day.

    Anyone else like the flaxseed calorie supplement idea?

    bro if you are bulking why the hell are u just eat the whites? bulk up man add some whole eggs in there too..1/2 cup oats?? thats like 27 carbs. i am cutting and i eat 1 cup 50 carbs oats with my breakfast in the morning..i thought i couldnt eat first thing when waking up but i had to man up and now its easy and i look forward to it
