i sometimes take a small nap right after my pwo meal. during legs day, it's practically a must for me with how shot i am after the workout. though it's not a must, it certainly doesn't do any harm.

as far as arnold having done it sealing the deal, i wouldn't necessarily follow in his footsteps. he was good in his prime, but even in his prime he couldn't stand up to the top competitors nowadays (coleman, cutler, nasser). additionally, research has come a long way since he used to compete.

don't know of any articles in particular, but there's no need. rest is when your body recuperates, so why would it do any harm? there's no way it could be anything but beneficial.

the only downside i could see is that when some people take a small nap during the day, they have a hard time getting to sleep again at night. i know cause i have this problem sometimes myself. however, as long as you don't have that problem, there's no worries at all. it'll do ya good if you have the time.

After I lift I have 3 classes. I lift from 8am-9;10 then go to classes and get home about 2, then I go to sleep for like an hour usually. I also have three meals after I lift but before I sleep. My Professors love that I will bust out a steak, brown rice, green beans and applesauce at my desk. I think they are kinda used to it now lol

Me and my brother do this sometimes. Its called the "Anabolic nap" in our house. lol.

Its only natural. I mean if you just kicked your ass in the gym and then give yourself a nice whey/dex induced insulin and serotonin spike, heck yea take a nap!
