Want to learn

Hey i was wondering if anyone was out there that is from Long island, New York. Even better if in Suffolk county. I would like to learn some UFC training of any kind and want to be trained to get a foundation. I served in the Army for 3 years and went to Iraq for a year. I will be dedicated and give you all my effort. I work in the morning and go to school at night so I am availible in the middle of the day to train. If anyone out there is willing to help i would really appreciate it or point me in the right direction. All understanding that there will be a fee that is not a problem. Just please LMK . THANKS

Don't get training from individuals... no matter how much knowlege they seem to have. Go to a qualified school of some one with some credentials... (just sounded like you wanted 1 on 1 training).

that being said...I recomend BJJ as a foundation martial art. Most schools with proper lineage teach mma or vale tudo.

go to Ray Luongos in Mineola also Matt Serra has a place in Nassau. I forgot the name but Matt Serra is a UFC fighter. Ray Luongo's trained that Cumo kid.

Tons of MMA schools in NYC area...find a good school, most of the schools will let you go one or a few times for free to see how you like the atmosphere. Take advantage of that and talk to the students to see what they think then sign up, good luck dude.
