anyone work in an office / cube environment

i HATE IT when people sit there on speaker phone in their cube. And because the people on the other line can't hear em to well they yell it louder instead of picking up the damned phone.

I could never work in a cubicle, I'd seriously become a drug addict or eat the wrong end of a gun.

Same reason I hate Nextel's. Are you really too lazy to flip open a phone?

I hate it when people bitch and complain about the smaller things in life, especially grown ass men. Work sucks sometimes, you should try and express yourself in your work place and let them know how you feel about this

Ive got a guy who uses the phone in the copy room across from my office. He will stretch the cord and stand in my doorway and talk as loud as possible. I thought maybe I should just shut the door in his face once.

Yup. AR is such a blessing when I'm at work. I have to work in a cubicle, and it sucks. I feel so tired and bored when I leave work. If you don't get paid much, don't consider working in a cubicle. Call centers seriously blow.

Offices/cubicles suck...period! I hate it when people just come in my office uninvited, sit down and chat about absolutely nothing. Here is my cure, I fart non-stop all day long in my office, seriously. I will actually make a special trip back to my office just to lay one down. Seems to working out well!

HAHA my place is "Office Space" i swear to god. I love my job but the one thing that annoys me is the phone thing! Like someone will be having an argument next to you and they start going nuts!! Its funny sometimes though...

First, Taitosh - your avy freaks me out. I hate clowns.

We have an open bay system here. Bigger than cubes but still ahve the separation. The woman next to me constantly listens to my conversations - whether it's to my wife or for work. Then she'll either email me about what I talked about or say over the wall, "I didn't mean to listen but....can I just comment..." FVCK YOU, yes you did and NO you can't comment!!!

Pennywise the clown is one of the greatest villians of all time, you won't find him in the circus

over hearing somebodys conversation in a work enviornment like that is hard to avoid......evesdropping on somebody and then commenting on what they heard is another thing.....she should mind her own business

It was more of a smart ass comment reflecting your initial start to this thread, but since you threw that out there I'm guess I'm guilty too.....I agree with you 100% though. I've worked in a few call center enviornments and they are pretty much all the same

Actually IT is the longest book I've ever read. Just over 1000 pgs I think.

Yeah unfortunately that'll never happen. I go into a conference room now when I want to have private conversations.
