    What im starting with.

I got my wife to snap a few pictures of me tonight so show what im starting with. Im going to be honest, I have not been working out much at all in the past 9-10 years other than a few 2 week spurts back years ago. Its hard to get motivated when you don't have a workout partner.

Anyhow I was thinking about doing a small cycle being im back to working out again. I have a buddy im going to work out with that did a small 4 week cycle last year and he told me of HUGE gains. He gained 30lbs and his bench went from 225 to 310 in less than two weeks. I would like to see gains like this but I don't care to get much over 175-180lbs. Right now im 160 at 5'10". I have already gone to Sams club and stocked up on all the good foods I will need as well as made a stop at GNC to pick up some goodies and I would not mind adding some juice to help boost my gain. My job requires me to be gone from home for a week at a time and sometimes a month when over seas so I would like a short cycle that I could get in before my trips. What do you guys think? Maybe I don't need any juice at all but I sure would like to try some.

I would get consistent with dieting and working out first. Then think about gear. No sense in wasting a bunch of money on gear when you are only working out in spurts anhd eating like shit.

You know, I dont think I have been eating like shit but I have not been eating to gain. I was 178lbs not 4 months ago and i dropped 18lbs by just watching my carbs. I eat a great deal of lean meat and dont touch stuff with lots of carbs. Now after doing some research it looks like i need to bump up the carb and calorie intake to get some gain. Im not a dumb butt so I will take what you guys tell me and work with it. If it would be a waist of $$ for me to get some gear than i wont get it. As far as working out, Im going to change my work out to all heavy weight with low reps and also stick with it as much as my job will allow. Thanks for any info you guys can give.

You definently don't need gear right now. There is so much potential to grow more before even thinking of juice. Check out the diet forum and read the bulking stickies. I am up about 6 lbs this month just from starting a clean bulk, diet really is 80% of lifting for mass.

You guys are right. I guess im just thinking back on how hard it was for me to gain weight back in high school. LOL I think I have somewhat good genetics being the pictures above are me after sitting on my A$$ and not doing anything to stay in shape over the past 10 years. I guess I should give my body a chance to develop more naturally with a mass building diet and actually working out. LOL Thanks for setting me straight guys.

diet and training first...a cycle would be like a finishing touch, train for 6 months to a year natty first before even thinking about AAS imo...good luck bro
