    Squat stance

Narrow or wide and how do you feel they benifit you?

I like narrow as i feel it hits quads harder in general than wide

would i be correct in saying the wider you go the more emphasis on the outer quads and the narrower you go the more emphasis on overall quad development???

No, the wider you squat the more it works the inner thigh and narrow squats works the outer thigh more.

i mix it up also, i went afew weeks where i used a wide stance, to get my inner thighs alittle more, then, went with narrow stance, feet almost together, to hit outer quads, but now, after having afew weeks off squats and doing sprinting instead, i will stick with shoulder width stance for awhile

I thought close stance hit the inner quads more and wider hit the outer quads more

Wide, for strength. But as a bodybuilder I think you should mostly concentrate on a narrow stance to hit the quads harder, and occasionaly varying your width.

    That is correct.

Same principle as bicep barbell curls. Close grip for the insides, wide grip for the outsides.

I've been doing slightly wider than shoulder with...I may start mixing it up and going closer together.

ive always read and been told that it was the other way round. wide-stance for inner thighs, narrow-stance for outer. biomechanically, this makes sense, and also, from trying both countless times, i know from first-hand experience that this is the case

I like to shoulder width or just a little wider and deep, ass to calves. Every once and a while I'll go really wide to work the inner thigh if I find its lagging
