These guys represent the last true great era of BodyBuilding. The guys today are just too big, too freaky. These guys were big, but it wasn't as freaky as it is today. The sport of bodybuilding today is just a joke. Nothing but super super huge Roid monsters. I know these guys of yesteryears were all juiced up too, but it wasen't the same. I don't know how to explain it??
people thought the same of the old heads as people think of todays bb!! its bullshit, they went to see mounds of crazy muscle that was unimaginable to the everyday person and its the same now just 20 or 30 years advanced! the human body/genetics/drugs have evolved in those 20~30 years also......thats life. these guys today are just as much freaks today as they were to the people in the 70's and 80's, its just a different time and era, if people really want to see a 1970's or 80's body then you are living in the past and for what? is football the same as it was in any aspect.....no they are bigger ,stronger, faster as goes for every sport if it stayed the same it would grow stagnant and then u would be bitching that its the same thing every year....think about it if u hit a plateau(spelling?) in your training do you just stay at that point with no more effort or drive to get beyond that point? of course not cause if you did then whats the point of being your best..to be your best you have to go beyond that plateau and set a new standard for yourself or in a pro bodybuilders case the world. And as for the amount of drugs todays bber's use do u think that if arnold or lee or any of the "old head' bber's could have had the drugs of today they wouldn't have snatched them up in a new york minute, come on u and i both know they would have done anything to be the best just like todays bber's. There is either no drugs or drugs u can't say they are on too many now!! even if they were to do the same amount of drugs as the old heads they would be way bigger due to better supplements,training/new movements, better and more machines the list can go on and on but in 20 or 30 years we have gotten much more advanced in every way just in the way of trial and error, in other words we've had 20 or 30 years to figure out more of what works and what doesnt than those in the 70's and 80's so that is a huge advantage right there. Take a look at a 1970's man (normal man) and a normal man today lets say in his middle twentys i bet theres a definite difference in their bodys, point being evolution in every sense has changed bodybuilding not just the drugs!Originally Posted by power65

would u rather see todays football players at 150 or 170lbs and wearing leather helmets....they could wear those leather helmets cause they were only 150~170lbs. If u wore those today u would be lucky if you lasted a friggin season! me i want monsters on the field and i want crazy ass speed on the field! gotta stop livin in the past bros!
quick and simp. these guys did the hit program dude. they over abused there muscle for growth instead of 18 or 25 sets. they did like 2-3 high intensity sets. and he also did a little juice. nice video. i luve it.
aahhhh okay........i guess???????? what does h.i.t have to do with the difference between yesterdays and todays bber's? and the only pro i know of that ever came out and promoted h.i.t was dorian, and that was after he put on a shit load of mass the conventional way!
