    Please give me advice...Bicep strain

Today i was training back, and was doing my sets of barbell rows- on my third work set, with 240 lbs, i felt a strange pain in my right bicep. I also thought i heard a very faint sound, but regardless the feeling was not good and i stopped the workout right then and there.

I went over to the immediate medical clinic and was referred to a doctor who has more knowledge with injuries when i told the nurse the problem. He looked closely at my bicep and told me some good news: The muscle was NOT deformed in any way, and it was NOT swollen. He said that this is good because if it was, the strain could have been much more significant, maybe even a tear.

He told me to apply ice to the muscle, and said i will probably be able to train it fully again in a couple weeks, considering that the muscle did not appear unusual- he said it was probably a low grade pull, nothing too serious. Thank God i knew enough to stop my workout though, or who knows, it could have gotten much worse.

I have a question though: l have a very small red spot that appears on the bicep, only encompassing a very small area of the muscle. I am not sure what this is and i did not notice it earlier at the doctor, and he did not notice it either. Does this mean anything? I am pissed though that i will have to take time off from the gym, but it's either that or make the injury much worse, and be forced with a major problem. I can pick up light things with my arm no problem and even move it up in a curling motion without pain, but here's the odd thing when i move my arm (rotate it) i do get a funny feeling, but again, nothing that screams "major pain"

oh yeah...another thing dr. said was to stretch the muscle intermentially. I did not mention to him though the fact that i take anything, because he was not a doctor that i know- so i am wondering if the GH that i am on now will help in this way. I've read a lot about the healing effects of GH, but i would like to know if anyone has any personal experience with it when slight (Or unfortunately more significant) muscle injuries occur. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated as mentally it's extremely difficult for me to take any more than a day off from the gym.
