ampoule not breaking cleanly

I have some deca from ecuador, yet the ampoules wont break cleanly, first off the amount of pressure for the snap is way too much and then they always end up cracking down the body or just breaking completly... Have you guys ever encounterd this???

Find a pencap that fits the top of the amp securely, then apply pressure to the top of the pen cap. Should snap alot cleaner that way.

Also, be sure to score the weak glass with serrated knife. Sharpie cap over the top of amp will break clean.

use a nail file to score the neck, it will break easier that way.

I use a fine metal file to score the neck all the way around, and it snaps off with no prob
