    Test E only cycle

Started first cycle on Saturday May 13, 150mg Test E every second day for 12 weeks.

    Stats:
    Age: 38
    Height: 6ft 3inches
Weight: 97kg on Friday May 12 (weight fluctuating 95-98kg)
History: Weight training on and off in the early 1990s, started again in 2005 at a weight somewhere around 112kg and I was in DREADFUL health at that stage. The last 12 months have been concentrating on dropping body fat and improving fitness. Now at a fitness level where I can honestly say I have never been this fit and have never had body fat this low. However I want to put on some muscle mass. I will show weights and cardio session in the log, which I hope to update every couple of days. Considering where I have come from and where I want to end up, and understanding the risks involved in using AAS, I am willing to do this properly. Some of you will disagree with the amount of cardio, but lets see how this goes. Will post photos every Friday.
Goal: 5kg lean muscle mass with minimal increase in body fat. Really interested in increasing upper body mass (chest is lagging severely).
AAS Cycle: 150mg Test E EOD, Novladex and PCT incorporating Novladex, Clomid and HCG

    Log begins here:

    Saturday May 13
Cardio 55 minute cycling at 140-150bpm

Felt good today, I definitely feel SOMETHING even if its a placebo effect!
As you can see, I am not particularly strong, but I do these exercises with strict form and with maximum of one minute rest between sets.

Walked 45 minutes in the evening. After my second shot of the Test E (self administerd into glute, how easy!)

    Tuesday May 15
    Cycle 55 minutes (140-150bpm)
Legs felt sore but in a good way.
Woke up with a hard-on this morning - the first time in years!!

    Chest and back tomorrow.

Attached are before cycle photos taken last week (you might have seen them on another thread)

    Concentration curls
20lb x 3 sets each arm, 20 sec rest between sets.

As you can see I am trying to minimize rest between sets.

    Walked for 40 minutes tonight.

I feel like my clothes are slightly tighter especially around the thighs. And my hammies are sore sore sore, but this is a common theme. I dont think they are injured, its just they get very sore after leg days. I could still do cardio on them like I have before, but today I thought they felt sorer than usual. Not going to take photos, we need to sleep.
Oh yeah, missus is having twins.

    [addressing soreness of hamstrings]
Take a warm bath for at least 20 minutes, then hop out and stretch 'em real good. Should help out a lot.

That or stretch them really well right after training - no jerking, just stretch and hold... helps a lot.
    Congratulations on the twins!

Spin 50 minutes 140-155bpm, went flat out, legs were wasted at the end

    Saturday May 20
    Chest
Incline barbell (weight does not include olympic bar)
    132lb x 10
    154lb x 5
    154lb x5
    132lb x 7
Definitely felt stronger on that first set, but second and third sets felt a little weaker. One minute rest between sets. Chest felt wasted after.

    Quads
    Squats
    176lb x 12
    220lb x 8
    242lb x 6
    242lb x 6
    176lb x 12
One minute rests. Didn't feel particularly stronger but legs felt very pumped.

    Leg presses
    440lb x 15
    528lb x 15
    616lb x 12
    704lb x 7
    748lb x 5
Legs wasted. Definitely felt stronger on leg presses!!

    Hamstrings
    Seated leg curls
4 sets, unmarked weight. 3 plates + a 5kg for heaviest sets. Definitely stronger on hammies.

So after one week, I feel like my clothes are slightly tighter, I feel slightly warmer, sweating more during weights workouts (could just be lifted in intensity), and weight is now between 98-100kg depending on time of day.
    I am also very hungry!!

    Cardio only day ...
    5 min stepper
30 minute treadmill run at 13.1kmh (6.5 km total distance)
    15 min stepper

Was hoping to do 10km run but the hammies not quite right yet. I was on pace to beat my previous best time by approx 40secs but decided not to risk injury. I have not noticed any detrimental effects to my cardio, not sure if I should be expecting any.

Stretched hammies post workout for longer than usual.

Photo from tonight ..... not much change in 10 days or whatever its been .....

By the way, you can ignore the date stamp on the photos, its wrong.

so much for keeping a log ....

Almost six weeks in to the cycle.

Overall, strength is up nicely on legs, and moderately increased on everything else.
Squats now doing 308lbs for 6 reps easily and 352lbs for 4 without much of a struggle.

For a while, I thought I was losing some cardio fitness. Running has been real hard, legs have been very sore from squats etc, and I am up to 102-105kg (so i have put on 4-7kg). Have kept up the hard cardio sessions but dropped down to 3 sessions per week (4 sessions of weights). Plus one or two 40 minute walks per week. So cardio I reckon my running is suffering but feel fine on spin bike and on eliptical and stepper.

Lots of comments about weight gain from people I work with. Don't feel like I am bloated, but have definitely put on some fat!!

General health - feel real good. A bit sweaty, and sex drive has increased heaps. No nipple itch. I like this stuff!!

The only thing is that I have been a bit confused and have lost my focus in terms of whether I am actually meant to be bulking or cutting!! the extra fat is a worry but the strength increases make me feel great.

Diet has been good, carbs way up from what they were.

    Anyway, 2 photos below.

    June 29 pics attached ......

I feel real impressive strength increases on some exercises, not so much on others.

Have upped the cardio back to 4 intense sessions per week and 2x45 minute walks. Not happy about the body fat which I reckon has increased a lot.

    Hell no.

    Satisfied= complacent

    Good progress so far

I believe you should increase your cardio though.. What's your diet look like now?

Diet has been ok. I will do a spreadsheet for this week capturing all that I eat.

The increase cardio is going to have to be walking at night times, going to up it to 5 days per week.

    Thinking of doing this .....

    Saturday - shoulders, biceps, triceps
Sunday - cardio (usually spin at 140-150bpm for 45-80 minutes), walk in PM
Monday - quads and hammies, walk in PM
Tuesdday - cardio (spin, run, ecliptical for 40-50 minutes at 140-160bpm), walk in PM
Wednesdday - chest and back, walk in PM
Thursday - cardio (40-50mins), walk in PM
    Friday - repeat Saturday.

All my cardio sessions are done at 140bpm+

Nark 3 more weeks was the plan, but I've actually got another 6 or 7 weeks left to use. Might make it a 16 week cycle.

I'm also getting myself organized for next cycle - Test E again seems the safest option in terms of what is available at the moment and price.

If you extend the cycle i would cut during the latter part.

Your bf% is definately going up.

Hit me with a PM by the way.

    ****in nice back man...

its nice to see some users using enanthade ED and EOD... the idea that prop ED will keep your levels consistant is just dumb... enanthate daily all the way

Have cut calories as per Nark's instructions last couple of days.

Went to gym yesterday expecting to be weaker.

    120kg bench 7 reps
    140kg bench 1 rep

    Definitely getting stronger!

    Back shot from yesterday.......

About to start PCT - hcg, nolva, gonal-f and there is a chance I might throw in some aromasin.
    107-8kg
last couple of weeks fairly useless - got the flu and could not train hard for a week.
so my thoughts on TestE? It made me feel like a 19 year old, but I reckon I could have gone up to 1000mg per week and made more gains. Also I really had to watch what I ate. I was hungrier than ever, and fell into the overeating trap for while. Next time I will do it with a tighter diet and another compound (or maybe just more test).

Ok I finished PCT. Ended up running the nolva by itself as I reckon I can put the gonal-f and HCG to better use on a future cycle.

Have got my TestE for next cycle, which I will start as soon as the wife has the twins.

Anyway, during PCT I got confused (as I tend to do!!) about whether I should be attempting to cut or actually hold onto some strength. I have come out of PCT weighing 106.5kg, which is 8.5kg more than before the cycle.

Overall, Test made me feel great. Would LOVE to add other stuff to the next cycle but my ability to get anything other than TestE without being ripped off is quite small. Cough cough.

Photos from today. Obviously need to cut at some stage (and grow a chest!!)

Acne - terrible (cant really tell in these photos but I had some WHOPPERS from about 1 week into PCT).

Congrats on the gains. I'm looking to do my first cycle too, and it will be based on test-e (probably 500mg a week). I hope your next cycle goes as well. Also, congrats on the twins!
