Thread: Water/Gear question

    Water/Gear question

We all know why it is important to increase water intake during a cycle. However, I'm trying to figure out why I feel I am need of water from morning to night. I drink a gallon a day but to be honest, I think I could easily go above that. I have no headaches, no problems that suggest I need more water. Just always craving it. Gear affects the need or even desire for water?

are you eating carbs?low carb diets sometimes mimic the syptoms of diabetes thus making you feel thirsty all the time

I had no idea of that. I am on a low carb diet. Is it ok to surpass the 1-gallon mark? I eat lots of protein, veggies, and constant with my vitamins and minerals.

Feeling thirsty all the time is a symptom of being diabetic. Go to your doctor and get yourself checked out ASAP!

I also live in Israel and its fvcking hot here.....another reason for being thirsty?

By the way, its not that I'm thirsty all the time. Rather, I just feel that I should be drinking in order to piss clear from morning to night. If I'm not clear, then I continue to drink. Sometimes, by the end of a long 18 hour day, I am over the 1-gallon mark.

The gear is messing with your blood sugar level. I notice the same thing while on.

I'll be there soon, actually. They say the weather is comparable to Israel except, like you said, its EVERY day in Singapore.

Eye sight is perfect. I think its in my head. Like I said, if I'm not pissing clear at all times throughout the day then I make sure I am always drinking. By the end of the day...I'm sometimes passing a gallon

Drink enough that you dont feel thirsty... if that is one or two gallons. I would also increase your carbs... make them clean or low glycemic. Are you taking dextrose with your pwo meal? that should help also.

Water demand is determined by a lot of things, do you do a physical job that is outside, when you work out do you really kick your ass for and extended period of time? Essentially if you sweat a lot you will need a lot of water, I have worked jobs when I was younger where I drank 2 gallons in a 14 hr period and didn't piss once, obviously not enough water! Now the idea that your urine has to be clear is crazy, if you aren't thirsty and you are not sweating out all your fluids just try to get in a gallon a day and call it good, but monitoring your urine color(so long as it's not like Orange Juice)is not the best thing IMO.

The only sugar I take in PWO is one large banana with a protein shake.

Are you on HGH? This hormone can cause hypoglycemia and or fluctuations in your blood sugar.

Sorry bro in order for your body to spike the insulin to shuttle the protein/aminos for utilization is to use dextose during PWO meal... just dont have fats or complex carbs several hours before. This is simple bb'ing/powerlifting information. Go to the diet section... someone there can help with the very same question and get more detailed on eating habits.

I had thought that natural sugar from fruit would be sufficient. Wow, not sure if I'll be able to go without the banana PWO. I love it. I will check out the diet forum
