    Carb Senitive... but in reverse?

Alright guys I started my cutting diet about 6 weeks ago. I started it as 60/20/20-Pro/Carb/Fat, did that for the first 3 weeks and lost 6lbs and 1% bf, which was no good since I only started at 212lbs. I was also getting horrible carb cravings all the time, so I switched it up to 35/45/20-Pro/Carb/Fat and in the three weeks I've been doing that I'm now at 217lbs but I've lose 3% bf.

This makes me wonder am I carb sensitive but in the opposite way? Also theres a history of hypoglyciemia in my family might that have something to do with it?

Just not sure if anyone knows anything about this...

    Any info would be appreciated

No, I believe you were overeating protein per sitting in your previous plan.

This is also very hard to judge being the differences are very small result wise.

How were you weighing yourself (same time every "X" number of weeks, on empty after pissin', etc) and how you did the "bodyfat" readings. Those things are so horribly inaccurate to begin with, and you are taking them in a very short time-frame, who knows what's really going on since water/glycogen/salt all play a part in those readings as well.

Don't worry about BF % unless your competing. In my non professional opinion body fat % is very overrated. Those tanta scales are way off in most cases and doing calipers yourself is almost impossible. The only one I have found to be trustworthy is the water tanks at Nutritionalist offices and other locations. Worry about how you feel and look when you look at yourself in the mirror.

Yeah I would agree that it's quite possible that I was just eating to much protien per sitting. I would almost fall asleep a couple hours after lifting, I just felt drained.

My weight was measured every morning as soon as I got up and pissed before I'd grab my water or do my morning cardio. And the body fat was taken weekly by a personal trainer, not sure how accurate it is or not it's part of the membership at the closest gym to my house so whatever.

Swole I was taking in 40g-60g of protien per meal for 6 meals I'd end up between 280g-320g per day. Now it's more like 20g-30g per meal for 140g-160g per day.

Thanks StoneGRMI, good advice and I am seeing the results slowly but surely, this race is a marathon not a sprint.

I always look leaner and more full when i go from low carb to 6 meals with carbs. The next day I swear Ive lost fat.The thing is that I cant eat that way day in and out as my carb sensitivity goes downhill.

Now you just may be one of the lucky few who can eat alot of carbs and get leaner yet suffer none of carbs ill effects.

Maybe so I guess I'll figure out when I've been doing it for longer. My diet when I was lifting alot before was pretty much the see food diet, but thats because I was a football player.
