I'm actually reading a book I just bought called Macrobolic Nutrition (anabolic foods), just on the first couple chapters though, when I get to the goods I'll come back if there's anything remotelty intresting.![]()
But I agree all food is anabolic.

I forget which one, I think ********(?), they had all kinds of shit like this. They had a poll of what was the most anabolic food, Pizza, steak, and two others.Originally Posted by Testostack
Maybe I should specify what I meant by anabolic foods. Foods that promote the greatest growth of lean tissue with minimal (negative) fat. Obviously all food promotes growth, but on the subject of bodybuilding, lets narrow it down a bit.

Its hard to say dude. That my point, carbs are anabolic so is protein and so is fat. Now all 3 macro's have tons of choices in terms of what are good, which means we could have a huge list here.
So plain and simple. Eating in excess of your daily caloric needs is anabolic. Now there are some obvious assumptions to that statement, one being you are eating enough protein for muscle growth. But protein portions are generally very similar amoung BB's.

I hear you bro. I'm doing a clean bulk and want the most "bang for the buck" as possible when eating. I'm getting 6 solid meals/day and only one shake (pwo) and would like to consume the most caloric dense foods (eating 6 whole meals can get tough).Originally Posted by Giants11
