    I dont think there is brand of oatmeal to prefer plain oatmeal is plain oatmeal regardless. If your looking for cheap places go to a bulk food store and you can buy a crap load for cheap. You can buy both slow cooking and fast cooking.

    I just use the generic supermarket brand.
    Stay away from some of the "instant oatmeals" they have added salt and sugars. Just get plain whole rolled oats.

    go to sams club and buy the quaker in bulk for like $5 cheap and it's a $hit load of oats!!!
