Nolvadex is a SERM and because of this it is selective in the tissue it will work on. Nolvadex will bind itself to the Estrogen Receptor. This is an area that estrogen will bind to and start to cause symptoms of gyno and then if not stopped will become gyno. So since nolva binds to the ER all estrogen that has been aromatized has no where to bind and will not cause gyno. You will see all the other estrogen related side effects like acne, and bloating because nolvadex will not stop aromatization.

YES, you can take your pick. some use Nolva during cycle if they are prone to gyno, some just keep it on hand if they start to see signs of gyno, and some use it PCT

I use it during the cycle b/c this is when my Test is suppressed the most and I am most prone to estrogen buildup...gyno etc..
