    just puked!!

    yea so just got done w/some serious DC style leg training and it whooped my ass to say the least....was doin smith squats and started gettin dizzy then wham i felt that shit come up....i didnt know where to heave it and the gym bag was closest so i got it all over my clothes and all my shit....not only that but the gym was unusually packed..i guess cause of the holiday..well then everybody stopped what they were doin and stared at me heaven in my gym bag...the look on peoples faces was priceless...but now i'm embarassed and am prolly gonna take a week off for people to forget...dam this sux but the plus is i got in a good leg day and now i can get my grub on to feed those chicken legs i got...

    oh yea and when i got in there was this hot chick that was in one of my classes last semester..well im talkin to her before i started liften and got her digits then later i start heaven and she was on the stair climber and i was on the smith bar right behind her so she saw too...this really sux cause she was a hottie...soooo dont think i'll be talkin to her any time soon...oh well..

    its DOGGCRAPP training style there should be a few threads in the training forum...if you havent tried it and are lookin for somethin new i suggest it it kicks my ass but its hard on the joints cause of the volume...but i think its worth it..im still young so the joints recoup fast...

    yea that or WTF!!! thats the grossest shit i've ever seen in my life...i dont really think this chick knows whats up..shes just a cardio bunny thats it...and yea it definately was a good leg workout...i kinda got a headache...my dad says i wasnt breathing right so next time he goes to the gym w/me ima show him whats goin in and make him puke...and i'll definately have a cam on hand to get a pic of the priceless moment

    Pukin huh? I go hard as hell on legs and I never get nausiated (sp?) or anything. I dont see how people throw up. I'll get dizzy as hell after deads sometimes or squats and wanna fall over and pass out but never throw up..

    That must have been an intense leg workout, very nice!! Alittle throw-up never hurt anybody, just bring some breath mints on your next leg day.

    I mean its cool and all that your ralfing in the gym and all after a leg workout but are you sure it isn't because you were dehydrated, needed potassium, should not have eated...?

    Awesome. But like chest6, I come close to passing out...have fallen on the floor a couple times, but never puked. Guess I ain't workin' it hard enough...

    yea i usually just get nautious...dont know why i threw i up..difinately wasnt dehydrated, potassium very possible along with eating too much and having a full stomach...could also have been all the alcohol i drank this weekend then thought i was hard ass enough to put a leg day in on a monday...i dunno

    I get sick like this constantly - it can largely be due to low glycogen with high lactate from training with extreme intensity. Heavy weights and short rest intervals will do it... especially in compound lifts... and especially when training legs or whole body workouts.

    pick a weight you think you can get for say 12, and find it within yourself to get to 20. these dc widowmakers take people to dark dark places

    i have never puked, but once or twice i have kind of had to hold it back

    but suddenly its like 90 degrees out of no where. we didnt have the air on, it felt so hot, got queezy real quick after drinking my green tea pre cardio the other day as soon as i woke up, and my body straight up rejected taht shit

    Yeah trust me I do that..I dont really question my intensity at all..I just dont get naustious I get dizzy as hell and wanna pass out

    i dont think puking is a measure of intensity either. 7 times out of 10, it could probably be avoided or lessened by proper breathing. 7 times out of 10, whenever somthing odd happens on a 20 rep set, it usually is because of a bad breathing technique, at least with my experience

    Breathing only works to keep yourself from getting over excited while feeling nauseated... it really only passes once you get some nutrients into your system... namely glucose will help. It's probably best to avoid puking - and usually you don't get the feeling until once you down shift and end the routine (probably related to the dropin adrenelin)... which is a good time to move right into PWO nutirion anyway... which helps the feeling pass.
