    Angry Oh no....I think I have a damn hernia!!

    Ok, I have a pain in my left hip/groin region that causes moderate pain when I lift my left leg up (raise my knee). It almost hurt like by my ballsack but not so much now. It is definately a "deep" pain. It feels good if I press on it and if I stretch, it hurts but feel good slightly. there si no visible sign of a hernia but, damn, whatya think doc?

    my bro had a hernia and often times some of the intestine will spill out and create a huge lump through the weakened wall of the abdomen. GO THE DOCTOR NOW! just to be sure.

    yea the most accurate sign of a hernia is a lump which protrudes! other wise they are just called obtrusions, which are not as serious but they do cause discomfort

    yea...go to a doc asap...if god forbid it is a hurnia, they can cause serious intestional issues

    sounds like it, i find that if it helps when you put pressure on it to alleviate pain it could very well be a hernia. get to your general practcioner, also it can be a severe sprain strain. skull, tell me how the pain started?give me a history of initial onset, is it the same throughout the day? scale of pain from 1 - 10? 10 being the worst pain and 1 being very slight.

    I have no idea how it started really.....??

    When I wake up its fine then as the day progresses it can get worse depending on how much I raise my left knee. It is actually getting better. It hasnt stopped me from lifting at al. I just had to modify my SLDL's and squats a bit. Actually I dint squat, that wouldve hurt. I was gonna go to the doc but, it is getting better now...??? My knee is my biggest problem aside from this new possible hernia. My shoulders are so so so much better now.

    just reading about it its making my testicles feel funny =( good luck bro I would get it checked to double check..the balls is nothing to mess with lol

    Its gotten much better but still there. No time to go to doc yet
