There is something called bikini zone for women- try it and it might help this rather sensitive area after you shave

Are you shaving against the hair...

    Is it the inner thighs..

I go over once with the flow of hair, then again against it.

And nah, not mostly inner thighs. Basicall all over, pretty even throughout the spots of the thighs.

    Against it huhÉ

Your causing ingrown hairs and bumps.. your never supposed to go against the hair when shaving.. try doing ot only with the way the hair grows twices and see if it gets better

Your best bet for shaving (I'm a barber) --

    1) shave after a shower
    2) use a heavy duty shaving cream -- the best I've found is
    Molle (Lucky Tiger). . . it's a pasty-cream you slather on - sparingly - and it's available from
    http://www.bowmanbeauty.com/store/sh.../1-18110/10371
and other places around the net.
    3) shave with the grain for the first pass, then across the grain the second time. Shave against the grain at your own peril . . .

Ya, this Molle stuff is a lot thicker than anything else I've seen, and it's got more protective stuff in it to act as a barrier between the razor blade and your skin.
To soothe your skin after the shave, apply a bit of Lucky Tiger after shave cream:

If you have extraordinarily sensitive skin, well, you can apply some (a very very thin layer) Lucky Tiger Lemon Cream
    http://www.bowmanbeauty.com/store/sh.../1-18040/16311
before you apply the shaving cream. If you have problems after that, well, I doubt that anything's gonna help . . .

i know this sounds gay, but this is exactly what I do and it works very well:

    1. shave in shower
    2. use Skintimate shaving gel (it's for women, but it's actually cheaper than the men's and it works much better - it smells good, too )
    3. use a mach 3 or better (i use the new fusion)
    4. rinse the razor often
    5. wash your body with soap/shower gel AFTER you shave
    6. wait until you are completely dry before you use lotion

every woman I date says I have softer skin than they do, and they LOVE it. they are especially happy with the pubic region, since most guys are to selfish to shave it for the ladies cause they are insecure with their sexuality!

    good luck bro
