One of my GF's degu's died. It looks like her cat got it, but she doesn't think her cat would do it.
Anyways, she was really upset, so we replaced her degu with a Chinchilla.
It's really sweet, and loving. I really like it. I'll post more of the story later.

My GF's cat killed one of her degus. The Degu had a broken hip or back when we bought her.
So after she was killed, to cheer up my GF I got her a chinchilla. Hopefully that cat will be dealt with soon, but unfortunately my GF will not give away her cat.

The Degu (Octodon degus) is a small, caviomorph rodent that is native to Chile.
