Liver Detox Diet

I have a friend who is extremely close to liver failure from drinking/aas/shitty diet...i would really like to know of any detox diets for him...i remember in that movie supersize me where the guy ate mcdonals for a month and almost had liver failure, and he had to follow a strict detox diet for a few months to get him back to normal..any help would be greatly apprieciated

There is also some kind of injectable substance that you can take that totally detoxifies the liver as well. Not sure what it's called nor where to obtain it, but I was told by a person who hooks up pros that there is such a thing.

ALA has been claimed to heal the liver. Milk thistle promotes better health to the liver as well.

out of curiousity.....how did your friend find out he is close to liver failure?....some more details on him as well....ht/wt/age, gear usage, how often he was drinking etc.... i think this info would be very useful to those who pose the question "is it bad to drink on gear".....
