    diet/training question

i am posting this here because guys that are cutting usually practice this. i read about a lot of guys cutting up and doing abs twice a day when they are about 4 weeks out or so. anywho, my question is...what is your dietary approach after these ab sessions? do you just have a normal meal or do you have some sort of PWO after each ab training routine? thanks to any responses from anyone who does this or anyone who has any insight on the topic. nOva-

I don't do abs 2 times a day ever, and the most I do them is 2 and maybe 3 times a week. If you are only working abs, I don't see a need for any special pwo protocol at all, no.

I'll ususally do mine twice a week after training. I'll do abs twice a week and calves twice a week. Then I have my BCAA's and glutamine and head home. Then have my normal post work out meal. Never tried doing abs twice a day. Seems like over kill to me. The still have to recover, compensate and supercompensate before their fibers can be torn down again. Seems like that would be counter productive to me.

This is what I do....abs are like any other muscle IMO.......THEY CAN BE OVERTRAINED....would you train legs or chest everyday?!?!? I think not...

Correct you are brutha. Not sure why he was bumping the thread to hear more, it's pretty straight-forward, but whatever. I'll refrain from wasting my energy posting as evidently it falls upon deaf ears.

Swole, it isn't falling upon deaf ears at all. i just like to hear people's experiences. and i have read about a few guys who do this, so i figured if they hadn't seen it, i would bump it in case they might want to post. but to each his own right. i will just PM them as to their nutritional approach after their ab workout.
