can I replace fat free milk with soy milk, lactose free milk or rice milk while cutting? I've heard milk is a no no while cutting but wasn't sure if the above are exceptions...

Nope, No milk..... Milk is vor babez![]()
I use it in my pwo and pre workout shakes year round. But I dont se why you would want to change to soy or rice milk. If you are gonna drink milk stick to low fat regular milk.
I use fat free milk in my PWO.. thats the only time I ever really drink milk..
Stop drinking milk for PWO you fatasses![]()

what about milk of coffee? i kno i shouldnt be drinking it but it is ok just in my one cup of coffee a day, its such an in sufficiant amount.....sorry to kinda steal this thread hahha
if its an insignificant amount, then drop it... but if u need it use it. and many steer away from dairy when cutting because of issues with bloating and the sugar in the milk itself.
think about it
sugars, calories, carbs, if your cutting why not use water
what's wrong with carbs whie cutting?
and isn't that exactly what you want PWO?
there is nothing wrong with the carbs from milk. The fact that is is a "sugar" doesnt matter at all. If he needs carbs in a meal there is nothing wrong with using milk as a carb source in that meal.Originally Posted by hauss man

Offcourse some will get bloated from milk and thats a good reason to stay away from it(many are slightly lactose intolerant without knowing it). But if you can handle milk well its good.
i luv milk. i've never been ripped so I don't know if it will give me a soft look or not.

I like making my shakes in silk light vanilla soy milk, but it does have some sugar in it. I just found silk organic nonsweetened milk thats pretty good with shakes too and only 1 gram of sugar, 4 total carbs per 8 oz's. heres the link....

As long as it fits into the daily goals, why not. Since the basis of milk is casein (which is real slow to absorb), there's no need to make a fuss about it, milk won't provoke an insulin spike.
Besides, whey tastes so much better with milk![]()
I dont understand why milk couldnt be used in a PWO shake if you need Pro/carbs and many use dex which is sugar anyway. What I normally do is 4oz milk 6 oz water ice, 2 scoops on choc whey, whole banana and a handfull of blueberries with a bowl of oatmeal and Im good to go. Somewhere around 50 pro 100 carbs.
I would like you people to ask you if buttermilk contaigns lactose same as normal milk?Im using milk as pwo but now im trying to lose some fat and thought is a good ideea to change it to buttermilk. Some advises??
I don't like milk effect......;thickens your skin......;not kinda results you want bro!![]()
Since I was a kid, I've been drinking milk at rate of about 1 gallon every 1-2 days. And I've never been ripped either. I am going to drop it completely for one month and see what happens.
old thread...
Why would you post on a thread that is MONTHS old ?Originally Posted by omni
