Is it possible to avoid insulin resistance(or almost) with a good diet regimen?
Does age play a factor?
I will be doing 2-3iu(5/2)6-9 months for connective tissue related issues.

If I were you I'd ask my Doc that question. Mine has not warned me about this, I suspect that it is because (like you, I think) I am at the low end of the dosage scale - more HRT than BB levels. I can't prove this specifically with your question, but in general there are a lot more potential sides with BB levels than with HRT levels. Most HRT dosages are designed to allow you to take them for life, compared to BB "cycles".
