My question is this: This company claims that you should take their product for temporary relief from shortness of breath, tightness of chest, or wheezing due to bronchial asthma. Are the ingredients in this product the same as the old ephedrine weight loss pills? If they have different ingredients, will this product work as well as the old pills did? Thanks.

This is a supplement question, not a dieting question. But yes, vasapro contains 25mg of pure ephedrine, the active ingrediant in "the old ephedrine weight loss pills". It's marketed as a relief for bronchial asthma, although I don't know anyone to actually use it for this purpose.
