The way electrolysis works is by sending a current through the hair that damages the follicle. You have to hold the tweezers on the hair for several seconds. You have to do that for each hair several times over several treatments. After several treatments PER hair the growth gets thinner and finer and , if your lucky stops. Thats assuming the home version even works.

I would do it if I had one stubborn hair but otherwise it would be a FT job and still not get rid of the hair most likely.

I had laser hair removal (which does the same thing, damage the follicle so it wont growm ahir) but it treats a larger area, much faster. I had 5 treatments on my armpits and bikini. I have had NO hair in my pits for 3 years ad very, very little ,fine ,thin hair (I shave every couple weeks or less) in my bikini.
It was worth the money to me. Most people who don't get a good result fail to complete the series of treatments. The hair is stunted after the first couple treatments and they figure therye good but the follicle is not sufficiently damaged, regains its strength and a few months later the hair grows back.

The follicles under my arms have shrunk over time as well and now it looks like I never had hair there. Bikini too.
I would do my legs but its best not to have a tan of any sort and I always have some color whether its fake or natural pus legs would be quite expensive. Laser also tends to work better on light skinned people with dark hair as the laser is able to differentiate better between the hair and skin.
Apparently there are lasers now (since I had mine done) that do a little bit better job on darker skinned people.

I doubt sincerely if that home thingy is worth a dime.

I bought an at-home electrolysis machine and it sucked! It shocks you and the instructions did not explain properly how to do it. I still look like a monkey! It sucked and unless they got a lot better, I wouldnt suggest one.
