Just tried to do my first injection of testosterone from a glass ampule. I read to push the top down and pop it off. I tried this and the ampule shattered in my hand, cutting me everywhere. The bleeding has stopped but I wasted a shot and would like to know the proper procedure to do this. Everything I read seems to be for plastic ampules.

What you have to do with amps bro is get a finger nail file from your girlfriend/boyfriend or whoever,and saw around the neck of the amp making a groove.Once you do that,get the cap of a pen and place the cap over the top of the amp and snap quickly.Got it?

i use a pen lid all of the time and have not had one shatter yet and i have used a fair few in my time...............

Bro I had the same problem now I find that it breaks off easier one way than the other I just pull towards me if it don't break off I turn it and try again.

The ampules were a little decieving. There's supposed to be 1cc in each one, but there was well under. I had to withdraw from two in order to get 1 1/2 cc's. This shit's going to get expensive real fast...

I sometimes score the neck, but most of the time I get a good grip and snap it as fast as I can. Or you can buy an amp cutter.

theres usually a blue dot on the ampule...thats where i apply pressure and break it off...some ampules without the dot i just try different angles applying moderate pressure...i've had only one ampule shatter in my hand while breaking it...that was because I had it wrapped in a towel and could not apply the proper pressure...

I got a system down that works perfectly thanks to all of your advice. The glass seems to be a little thicker than it should so a substantial amount of sawing around is needed. After that a little pulling away with the pen cap pops the top right off.
They say nothing beats experience and this is true. So glad I have you guys here to help me out. Thanks tons!

no need to saw at it that long......i use a seraded knife or scissors. A few clean swipes around the neck is suffice. wrap in a face towel....hold the amp in your hand like a cigarette lighter (with the neck coming just slightly above your index finger), and push forward with your thumb with just enough pressure until u hear a pop! its like riding a bike, once u figure it out its a piece of cake. Good Luck!
And if still you can't open it without cutting yourself, get yourself a helmet with a nice droul-plate, b/c you shouldn't be using gear

yesterday evening i remembered this thread...I was opening ampules of testoviron and winstrol stromba...i compared them all with some ampules of primo i have...sure enough, most ampules by schering have the blue dot on the neck that indicates where to snap.
the winnie on the other hand,was a little harder to crack, to i had to give it a few swipes with a nail file before it agreed to pop open...
I also heard from many a source that if an ampule is too hard to crack open (especially schering or organon ampules) then there are high chances it might be fake...wonder if anyone has a say on this....plus those ampules that are made of thicker glass usually would come with a special blade in the pack...
