    3 wks, 2 days out

THese were taken a few days ago, I am 220lbs here in the morning on empty stomach (dry weight) 6'1". I know I am a lil behind but my sodium is extremely high and has been all prep (holdin lots of water), and I just made adjustments to my diet and cardio and am busting ass to dial it in. I posted these in the competition forum as well, but there isn't as much traffic there.

Nice job dieting. Big change before and after.

The trunks you have on are awful. Order your trunks from here:

    http://www.jagware-posingsuits.com/

Black, Navy Blue, Brown, Yellow, Red, Gold, or Orange would look nice on you. Check out pictures from Pro shows. Find someone near your skin complexion and pick a similar color trunk.

Forgot to add. If your glutes are striated go with a Brazil cut. If not and you're holding a little fat back there, go with a cut that will full cover your rear.

THanks C, but I did get my trunks from Jag-ware. They are french cut crushed velvet. WHy you think they look bad? just because my skin has a reddish tone?? You think it will look better with my protan on?? I plan to paint it on pretty damn dark. I also got navy blue crushed velvet as well.

I guess it's the crushed velvet I'm not liking. Specially from the rear. It looks too shinny. It looks distracting to me. My eyes were drawn to the shinny trunks before your physique. Not sure if others will agree.

I don't know, maybe they will look better when you're darker.

Well thanks for the feedback. What material do you recommend?? I dont know, I have never done this shit before lol You are right though, the trunks are tooo shiny, I did not realize they would look like this.

I am not sure if my glutes will be striated yet or not, its hard to tell, I am behind, but still have time to make changes....which I will make big ones. If they are not striated, what cut should I go with? Is french cut ok? Or should I go with something that covers the glutes even more??

    Thanks again

I think French cut looks OK. You could do velvet in a solid dark color. Just not crushed. Check out pictures from Pro shows. See what they wear.

    I agree.

Save the shiny stuff for your pro debut.

You physique needs to speak louder than your undies.

Spound.. i need to see a side profile: relaxed (both left and right side); a rear profile: relaxed.

an ab and thigh shot additionally.. and a front lat spread.

I'd also like you to get someone to take a full body shot (better focus.. standing away from the cam) so i can see how everything ties together.

By the way.. you owe me a PM full of updates.

I want to know what diet modifications you are making and why.. etc.

THanks...no I do not have my own day for them. I have been training Iron man HIT style (check training stickY) b/c I trained liek this all offseason and I believe what built the muscle will keep the muscle. My arms lag terribly though no matter what I do considering I have had a broken right elbow, years later also had complete reconstructive elbow surgery (I can not completely extend my right elbow), I have been impailed with a rod iron through my right arm pit that went up to my bi/tri (don't ask), which then got severely infected with a flesh eating bacteria causing me to have to have my right bicep operated on....they had to form a burrow in my arm and stuff it with gauze, leaving the incision/HOLE open for a month and stuffed for 4 days in the hospital...it was gruesome. SO needless to say I have been through hell with my arms, I am lucky they are even ar where they are at now, but I keep pounding them.

No, you know me, and its not taken as a flame at all, but the way you put it with "pro debut" and "undies" sounds kind of belittling DOn't know why you had to put it like that??? but either way, you know more than me about this stuff and I appreciate the advice. I did not know any better as a novice, and I honestly did not know they were oging to be so shiny like that, I was just thinking they were plain velvet. I will order some more. Could you please recommend a style, material and color?? WIll the blue velvet ones I have on in that one pic at least work for the night show? Trunks get expensive after 3 pair lol.

I will work on updated pics, I jsut have to get someone to take them for me b/c I have been taking these myself on a timer, so they kinda suck .

I am almost hesitant to even post a right side relaxed shot jsut because my arm on that side is so small from all the injuries/operations, it is kind of depressing to me eventhough there is little I can do about it and definately can't change what happened.

I think the trucks do look a little flashy, however, in person they may not look that bad, the camera has a tendency to do that.

My first impression was, Wow it took a lot of guts to put those on let alone get photographed in them.

But on second impression, have to do a lot of shaving or such just to make them half way decent... are trunks like that even legal at the beach? Also gave me an impression, not a lot of manhood there... did this guy get ball and shlong shrinkage really bad or is it an illusion of the trunks?

Come to think of it, those trunks have to be illegal at the beach, check out a pretty girl and get a woody and mine would be out and exposed before I knew it.

Why are you so concern with his dick size? I'm gay and I didn't notice so what does that say about you?

Yea, I am 11 days out today. I am progressing VERY well, and have been since the last pics I posted. I will try to get more pics up this week. I am just kinda pissed b/c I feel I mis-timed my prep by about 2 weeks....I just started out too fat... Oh well, this is a learning experience and my first show...hindsight is always 20/20. There isnt anything more I could do without losing muscle b/c my fatloss has been at a steady constant 2.5-3 lbs per week, if I tried to go any fast, I woulda been losing some muscle. I will say though that it is still possible for me to bring in striated glutes if I keep up this kind of progress....it will be close. I will be very lean either way, but the way my bodyfat is evenly distributed I feel I have the potential to be peeled top to bottom, front to back. I am just hoping I make it to that point by show time. If not, I may jsut keep dieting and do another show 6 weeks later as well. THANKS FOR ASKING CARLOS

THanks C, that's reasurring, I jsut hope to keep this pace up, or maybe even a touch faster.

HAHA, I knew someone would say something about the trunks Yes, they are new, but I will not be wearing them during the show. I dont like the side strap being so thin. I feel I am too tall/skinny for that, and it makes my legs look thinner. I will be wearing french cut trunks, they are on the way...I got some black ones and some red ones. My next pics will be in them. lol, I am still laughin...

That's nice to say when he's 11 days out from a show. When you cut for a show you feel small enough as it is. Geez.

You're look'n great spound, congrats on putting in all the hard work. Coming from a 6'1" guy I can assure you that you don't look like your 190. I'm 190 now and my goal is 220 @ 7% so it's nice to see what I'm shooting for. Keep up the good work and good luck in the contest. I'm sure you'll do great.
