EVERYTHING IN GNC IS BAD AND IS STERIODS and WILL KILL U

Ok you know I don't believe that .... but that's the B.S. I had to sit through the other day at work. Let me give you the back ground!

Couple months ago a young sailor (23) stationed in Jacksonville goes to the ER sweating, shaking, etc. As they are trying to figure out what is wrong with him his organs are shutting down one by one...and before long ... within 20 minutes he DIED. Kidneys shut down, liver had no function, etc....

So of course they want to know why and they do an autopsy. Mean while, security is cleaning out his room. They found 5 or 6 different steriods, insulin, protein, creatine, weight gainer, you name it ... he had it. Apparently, he was stacking and stacking and taking HUGE doses of everything. If he felt one thing didn't work, he would try something else ON TOP of what he was already doing.

So.......I had to sit through a 30 minute lecture from this 110 lb guy ( kid you not, he makes me look like a monster) tell us the evil of steriods....how every thing in GNC is bad and evil and blah blah blah blah! I have NEVER had such a hard time keeping my mouth SHUT!

Was this kid stupid??? Sure was. The steriods didn't kill him....his uneducated, ill informed use and abuse of steriods killed him.

For all you newbies that are here to learn and decide if steriods are for you.... that's your choice, but damn it.....educate yourself first! Know what you are getting into and make WISE decisions on what and how much!

I had a friend that kept passing out and he was taking Animal Stak. The new one..without the prohormones. Everyone was like dont take supplements they'll kill you. Also, a fball player passed out during practice at a school near my city and they found Ephedrine in his locker and everyone was all scared bout that and trying to get it banned etc. Ahhhhh people

yea it is. honestly, it offends me to read some of the ads they got. like one i read in one issue of muscle and fitness. it said a pro bodybuilder gained 58 pounds of muscle in 40 days from their product...

I guess I should be more clear on this statement too. Allow me to rephrase:

The whole "mainstream" supplement industry (and its marketing) that I have personally been exposed to is complete Bullshit. All of the products that I have seen and unfortunately even used, were nothing more than a waste of my money and efforts.

Examples:
CEE
amino acids
taurine
expensive protein like nitro tech etc

there are others but I dont remember specific names. It was when I was younger and new to lifting/diet. I would never throw money away like that again.

I just dont notice any difference with those products. Sure they might have an effect that is not necessarily noticeable physically but, IMO that isnt worth the rediculous amount they cost.

yea I see. You personally use ergopharm or avant labs? I have heard of avant but never looked into them, what supps do they offer?

it more than likely had very little, or even nothing to do with steroid abuse that shut his organs down and killed him. if he had insulin in his room, chances are he fvcked up with its use, and if he was using all that, who knows what else he was using

Not 'bunk' as in don't work at all but 'bunk' as in it could never live up to 10% of the claims that's in the ads. If MuscleTech lowered their prices and provided useful info in their mega-ads and also started making some legit claims about their supps they would be golden in my book. Take a look at their newest snake oil Anator-p90, it's posted in here somewhere the claims in the ad are outrageous! "So and so pro gained 50Lbs of muscle in 40 days!" not even 10g tren a week could do that!

Im sure thedre is much more to this then there telling people. But as for supps i feel 90% of them are stake oil and dont do shit. But for that dumb ass that is now dead is going to make it look like the steroids killed him and we have to take the heat from the feds. But what about the insulin if that was realy found It's not a steroid.
