I must take off my headphones at least a dozen times when I work out.

It's getting fukin annoying.

When I wear headphones it's a clear sign that I don't want to be bothered!

i wear my headphones...a low pulled down hat & my ANIMAL shirt that says "i'm not here to talk" on the front & they STILL interrupt my workouts..no fat chicks though.. AND there is always some tool that is standing right in front of the dumbell rack doing a ridiculous exercise preventing me & others from grabbing some weights...

So true. I often get interrupted by old dudes or chicks (and I mean OLD), trying to make us of their 15 min break every set (yeah, every set).
But the worst thing is getting interrupted while benching by some dude who want a spotter for their 60 pounds bar. It's getting irritating.

I know exactly what you mean smak somebody is always comming up tapping me on the shoulder or talking when they know I can't hear them but I try not to be a jerk and say something then put my phones back in.

its weird. ill workout with a partner, no headphones on and be left alone. but as soon as im alone with the headphones on, im getting harrassed.. makes no sence..

lol people always call me in for that one, because i cant stand it when they get in the way and i get pissed, so i go over there and not so kindly ask them what the **** they're doing

I can't stand it when people talk to me at the gym. I wear headphones, and do my cardio with my eyes closed. Otherwise I'm constanly being yaked at about dumb things by seniors, or teenagers.

This is funny, i rarely ever have anyone say anything to me and i don't wear headphones either. I am lucky i guess.

The last thing anyone said to me was a kid asked me if my leg wraps really helped when squatting. Quick reply "Yes" and walked off.

I can't stand it when, with headphones on and in the middle of a set, someone comes up and asks if I'm using a particular weight/extension! It's like they can't see from the look on my face, that I'm a little busy! Ughh!
