Thread: Cardio good for healing an injury?

Cardio good for healing an injury?

I was thinking...seeing blood flow to a repaired tendon is good for healing...and doing cardio is good for increased blood flow...would doing cardio like running on the treadmill be good for healing an injury?

Would running on the treadmill be good for increasing blood flow to my repaired pectoral tendon?

Running is quit intense for cardio, coming back from an injury or even being in rehab its better to go with less intensity.

THis sucks big time for sure but beleive me its to prevent further damage.

I would consider swimming, no impact on the body and you do work the chest muscle so yes it will fill it up with blood and in the mean time re-enforce it too.

    Good luck
