    Alternative Forms of Cardio

    Hi guys,

I know a lot of you think the treadmill on a moderate speed and high incline on an empty stomach is one of the best ways to do cardio. But what do you all think of things like yoga and swimming? Granted they don't get your heart rate up as high as running does i imagine, but they're both toning and do give a cardiovascular workout as well as increasing flexibility like yoga.

    Lemme know wotcha think!

    Cheers,
    Andy

Swimming is an excellent form of exercise and can be a perfect form of cardio and burning fat. Swimming can get your heart rate up just as high as running. Get in the water and you'll find out soon enough.
