anyone else use these, are they any good? taking one reading from one part of the body seems a little inadequate for want of a better word, what do u guys use to measure body fat?

I have them....they give you a general idea of bf% but they are not great, the only reliable way to measure bf right is to do underwater testing
what do you think their percent of accuracy is? give or take what % of bf?
go for the ones which measure at 4 body-sites. i don't know the name of mine off the top of my head and i'm too lazy to walk to my drawer and get them, lol. sorry bro. just shop around and you'll find some.
with 4 body-site measurements, the accuracy is supposedly within +/- .5%. however, all things considered, i'd say it's probably more like +/- 1%. regardless, if you're consistent with where you measure each time, it will still give you a good frame of reference as to if you're gaining or losing and a pretty close estimate as to how much lean body mass you have as opposed to bf.
well... accu-measure themselves say its within 2% but the chart has 1mm-2mm leeway each increment and given the age reading its hard to say, for example i am no different visually than 2 yrs ago but i was 1.1% less b/f according to the chart, i would geustimate it could be as much as 3% out, like to hear from anyone who has tried underwater testing allongside accu-measure.Originally Posted by toofatbuilder
IMO accumeasure suck horribly.
I haven't touched mine in months. It's difficult to even read what the measurement is and in addition the chart has a big range as well.
They just contribute to mind games, just like weighing myself daily.
