Dextrose is about the closest thing you can get in your diet to glucose. They are basically the same thing... a product labeled "Glucose" is usually 100 percent dextrose.

Insufflating dextrose crystals cut w/ some L-glutamine make me throw weights around like fetuses at an abortion clinic.

Where do you get glucose syrup and how much does it cost? I know dextrose is pretty cheap, but it's a pain to have to order it online everytime I need to re-up.

i don't know where you can get glucose syrup, but i do know that most beer distributors carry corn sugar as it's used in the fermentation process. basically the same thing, only granule instead of a syrup.

personally, i just order in bulk from online. the stuff is real cheap, so i'll just typically get like 10-15lbs worth and i'm good to go for a while on it.

Yea, I usually get 6lbs for every 5lbs of protein i order online. I figured if I could find something that I didn't have to pay shipping for, and could get the same day, It would be much more convenient. I may check with a few local breweries and see if they'll sell me some.

What do you guys think about AST's DGC (Dextrorotatory Glucose Crystals)?
Is this a waste of money or what?
