Exclamation give me sum advice plz...

    Hello i am 23 years old,my stats are;
    training for 5-6 years
    bf% of around 11%
weigh anywere from 13.3lbs to 13.6lbs and i wish to bulk up and put on solid muscle mass.
i prefere free weights but i do go to the gym only once a week to do exercises on my legs and use the treadmill etc, i do this because i prefere to train at home with my free weights and money is tight.

i have a few questions which i would greatly appreciate if you could take the time to answer.

1)i currently train at 3 sets of 6 reps, i know their is much controversy about reps and sets, and i have used 3 sets of 10 reps and 3 sets of 8 reps in the past but i have found my strength and growth has greatly increased sinse using this, what do you think is a good amount of sets and reps.
2)how should i change my workout?is it better to train my chest with my triceps or my chest with my biceps?as i am noticing more and more people training their bicep with their chest.if i was to do this how do i pair my other muscle groups?

this is my current training routine, each exercise is carried out with 3 sets of 6 reps, let me know what you think......

    mond-chest/tris
    wed-back-bicep
    thurs-running sesh/legs/abdominal
    sat-chest/shoulders

i train my chest twice as i found this to be my lagging muscle, but now that i have worked on it i do not need to train it twice a week.so i need some ideas to change my routine.i also work my muscles to muscle failure if one session i workout and carry out all the exercises with ease or to not maximal effort,i will train till i cannot lift anymore by lifting intense for the last 10 minutes of the workout.

this is the routine i am thinking of carrying out, each exercise would be carried out with 3 sets of 6 reps, let me know what you think....

    mon-back/traps
    wed-chest/biceps
    thur-cardio session/legs/abdominals
    sat-shoulders/triceps

    OR...

    mon-chest/tris
    wed-bicep/back
    thurs-cardio session/legs/abdominals
    sat-shoulders/traps

either way im game, so plz giv me any ideas you think would help me out asap, dont threat to give me productive critasism, about the order of the workout and the muscle pairing.cheers for your time.

Not a good idea to do Cardio on a leg day bro you wont be able to train them properly. If you feel you need to train abodypart twice a week the you are not hitting it hard enough. Once a week is enough, more will lead to over training I do this

    Mon Chest/Biceps
    Tuesday Back
    Wednesday Cardio or Off
    Thursday Shoulders/Triceps
    Friday Legs
Sat and Sun Cardio or Off

IMO all the different training techniques is really a personal choice and what works best for you.

Different people choose different routines like back/bi's chest/tri's etc. some people do upper body then lower, others do major muscle groups and some even exhaust the small muscle groups before they hit up the major ones.

Once agian trail and error and what works best for you.

However to pack up some bulk you will have to go with using big weight low reps.

    Hope this heps bro.

do you prefere your workout to working your triceps with your chest?and is their a reason why you train the way you train?

like I said bro its all personal preference.

you will see that a lot of workout routines envolve working out groups

in this case extendors and flexors ie back with bi's because they are both pulling muscles where as chest and tri's are both pusing muscles

its all preference, if you like the routine that you are doing now and its working for you then keep it up

just remember tho that if you want to pack on some more muscle the best way is to do high wieght low reps
