    Newbie pics

Still new to the site, but figured what the hell I'll post some pics of my fat ass. Stats: 5'-9" 230 lbs 35 yo. Not sure on BF% the YMCA where I work out has a little hand held device that says 26.3% I'm sure it's higher than that. I have lost 15 lbs in past month. I finally figured out that I can't eat ice cream all the time and hey what do u know I started losing weight.Right now not really following any kind of diet just trying to eat healthy plenty of chicken and veggies and stay away from the junk food. Doing weight 5 days a week same for cardio (at least 45 min.). I hope to take off another 20 -30 lbs in the next 12 weeks and gain some muscle. I'm posting these pics in hopes that it will keep me motivated and on the right track. If I stay on track hopefuly I will post new pics in 12 weeks.

Good luck bro.. just stick to a clean diet, cardio and slowly it will come. Don't try to take any shortcuts.. Visit the diet forum on this site and you will get a lot of great info. You did not get fat overnight you will not lose it either. I have been there and it is possible to lose it all with time, effort and dedication.

    Good luck

Yep. There are no "diets" in getting lean. For diet..I mean temporary. Has to be a total lifestyle change. Good luck!

Yea I've done the diet thing (cabbage soup diet, Low carb diet, the hot fudge brownie covered in chocolate syrup diet) there nice for a temp fix, but not a permanant solution to the problem.

    Thank for all the replys.

great to see you doing something to make you feel better. as the rest have said, eat clean, cardio, and persistence, it really does work. hell, in 4 weeks youve lost 15lbs, just by cleaning up your diet, you will shift the rest no problem. just remember that the more fat you lose, the harder itl be to shift the rest. good luck dude
