    Any suggestion to my routine???

    A friend of mine who is a trainer has got me on his program, so far, after almost 2 months its been great, strenth gains and muscle mass also. But I am wondering if there is a more effective program out there, any suggestions? Whats unique about it is that I do 8 variations for each muscle group and only focus on that muscle for the day. Yet, I am not sure why it works so well, any ideas? the program runs as such:

    Monday: Chest
    Tuesday Triceps
    Wednesday: Back
    Thursday: Biceps
    Friday: Shoulders/traps
    Saturday: off
    Sunday: Legs

    cardio is up to the individual, but I do it 3-4 times a week @ 160 bmp

    keep the same training split, anymore might result in overtraining, especially if you are incorporating cardio. If you feel like it isnt enough, pump up your muscles on their off days, do a light set just to get you swole, real swole. you can do this after you have finished your routine, its not like you are in the gym for 2 hrs doing back, so after pumping up your, shoulders, chest, etc... wont hurt and will give you gains
