    Quad injection question...

Sorry it is sort of a long story, but wanted to share my experience, and yes, there is a question, I promise!
I had my first real problem injecting today. Been cake doing
quads twice a week up until now, and hope this doesn't happen again
any time soon. My left quad is like butter EVERY time (knock on
wood) never had a problem with the left. Now the right quad
on the other hand is a pain in my balls about fifty percent of the
time. I almost always have alot of pain in the initial poke, and
it is so bad sometimes that I have to inch it one way or the other
just to pierce the skin. most of the time I just grin and enjoy
the little bit of pain, but sometimes I just have to relocate.
well, today was my right quad, and I was surprised at the very
small amount of pain, and got psyched up for a smooth inject. That
is, until I get it all the way in, and see my pulse pushing blood
up into the tip of the syringe. Sort of cool the way it was
pulsing.. haha, needless to say, I pull out, and relocate. all is
well on the second try, and only a small amount of pain, then BAM, more blood going into the syringe... OK, FINE... relocate again. Ouch, ok, that one
hurt, but fvck it, I am doing it anyway, ahem, until I get about a
quarter inch in, and the muscle is twitching, and I am cussing
because of the pain... FVCKER!!! so I pull out again thinking to
myself I am definitely changing this needle, it has to be getting
dull from sticking me three times, and maybe why it hurt so bad.
Wait, I just pulled it out and blood is going everywhere!!! So, I
cover the hole, and stop the bleeding right away and head of to
find my box of pins... then I look down at my leg, and realize that
I now have a golf ball size knot of blood under the surface of my
skin from that last bleeder, that was still bleeding inside... WTF
WTF WTF!!!! After a few minutes of direct extreem pressure, I was
fine again, and found my pins, and used a new one to FINALLY get
that sh!t into me... And I have a nice big bruise on my quad... I
guess anyone who has never done a cycle would say we are crazy for
putting ourselves through such an ordeal, but I say, "is it Monday
yet? I want another injection!" )) Next Thurs when it is time
to go for the right quad again, I am going to explore for an
injection point that is as smooth as the one on my left quad is...
SOOO, my question is, (drumroll) has anyone else ever have the problem of injections only giving problems in one leg and not the other?

To put it simply yes I have. My righ quad as well seems to give me a little more pain. Actually just last shot I had to abort. It was an extreme pain when trying to pierce the skin, I didnt really care about the pain and just kept pushing, started pushin so hard my skin was indented about an inch but still not through the skin. The needle actually bent and then went in and hurt A LOT like a bad bad bee sting, decided to pull out and hit another muscle group but found it hard to even pull out as the pin had bent.

My suggestion to you is to stop relying so heavily on one injection site. Problems are going to arise from time to time. Especially when you have to inject multiple times PER DAY. You just gotta hit a new spot on the same muscle or a new muscle entirely.

What are you freakin Superman, bending the needle trying to pierce through all that steel? hahaha! I've seen a lot of your pics bro... kudos! You're a truck, and good symetry!

I agree with Bino, don't you inject in different spots on the right quad? Sticking the same EXACT location (even once a week) is a definite !

Though, I never personally experienced what you described, but you might try injecting on an angle.

Also, when there is pain after initial insertion, don't fully withdraw your needle, simply redirect it. Individual nerves are quite small and can be easily avoided with very slight angling.

    Thanks man.

I cant tell you why/how the needle bent. It was extremely painful but like I said when it happens just brush it off as you did and try a new location. But definitely try hitting up some new muscles. Glutes, delts are fairly easy and large muscles to inject into. You shouldnt have a problem.

I wont disagree, but damn, once you find a sweet spot that is completely effortless, you will revisit that spot in the future.

I'll try anything once, er, ALMOST anything!

It was actually lucky I did pull all the way out, because of the severe sub-dermal bleeding. it turned into a golf ball size knot in a matter of seconds, and that would not be a good scenario with the syringe still hanging out of my leg. Besides, needles are nothing to me, so when I do have issues, I feel like it is my body telling me to get that damn thing out and try somewhere else!

I know glutes are easy, but hate standing/leaning over the bathroom sink to do it. gonna give the delts a test run though. I will let you know how that goes next week...
