1) For instance, a 5x5 or HST which use sub maximal weights or training using low reps and heavy weights. SINCE GEAR BOOSTS YOUR STRENGTH, IT WOULD BE SILLY NOT TO EXPLOIT THAT BENEFIT..THEREFORE, I RECCOMEND LOW-REP HIGH-INTENSITY (4-8 REPS) WORKOUTS FOR BASIC EXERCISES (BENCH PRESS, SQUAT, DEADLIFT, ETC) AND MEDIUM-REP HIGH INTENSITY (8-10 REPS) WORKOUTS FOR OTHER EXERCISES..ALWAYS USE WEIGHTS THAT ARE HEAVY ENOUGH SO THAT YOU GO TO FAILURE ON YOUR LAST REP
2) Also, training the muscle 2-3 times a week (high freq, low volume)
vs 1 time a week (low freq, higher volume).UNLESS ITS A LAGGING MUSCLE GROUP, WHICH I WOULD DO 2X A WEEK, I WOULD DO EACH MUSCLE GROUP ONCE A WEEK BECAUSE AFTER YOU BLAST EACH MUSCLE, RECOVERY OF ATLEAST 7-9 DAYS IS ESSENTIAL
