    Is it a back pump?

    Hi ,

I`m on the 9th week of my test cycle and on my 3rd week of deca. I`m having a frustrating tightness in my lower back. I get it every time i walk for over 2 minutes. It`s like the tightness you get from hyper extensions or deadlifts. Is this normal?

    Thanks

If you were using dbol too I would have to say yes, but I never heard of deca or test causing this. I could be wrong though.

Not a backpump... maybe you strained something. The only other thing that would resemble that would be kidney pain. See a massage therapist and baby the back for a few days. If you have trouble urinating or your urine is orange/light brown go to the doctor.

Sounds like a back pump to me, just never heard of that with deca, but we are all different, bump what Smarta$$ says about possible kidney issues.

I am curious though as to why you waited so long to introduce the deca and also how long have you been having these pains?

I`ve ran test at 500/8days and was not satisfied then i introduced deca at400/8days... RESULTS ARE COMING

Maybe it`s the new added bodyweight, i was 242 when started now i`m 269.5 unbelievable SHIT.. and `ve got about 7 weeks to go... i`m running hcg and proviron too but that i think isnt the cause of it.

It`s not pain as such... it`s more like disconfort.. it`s been like this for 3-4 weeks. It doesnt affect my workout at all... strange; it`s just tightness like the one u feel after like 20reps of hyperExtensions, i`ll keep u updated.

Have you done heavy squats or deadlifts since this started, thats when the back pumps get to me, when I would do a 10X10 on squats a lot of times I could not walk after the last two sets, just kind of hobble my ass away, other thing I noticed was that it was gone, I mean completely within 30 minutes after I stopped my workouts.

This is a back pump... it goes away with rest.

This can be quickly (in a few minutes) alleviated by lying on your back with your legs elevated, preferably high, like outstretched up a wall. This works by aiding blood flow to the strained area. I often employ it, after heavy leg days.

Thanks... I thought i was the only one having it with test and deca...
Sometimes it subsides but it never goes away completly.

I squat or legpress heavily and do deadlifts freaquantly.

This is the first time I have ever heard of pumps like this in my nearly 20 years of being around roids. My take is... If it never goes away... it is not a pump.

Try what I said earlier about takin it easy with the back, it may work itself out.

    Agreed.
This sounds less a pump, and more a problem.

    Mamias,
Are you saying that you get this on non-lift days, when standing a while?

I'm saying i get it some times while standing after a hard workout, even if it's not leg or back day.
It's not like a pain. it's more like a pump, like when u hit ur bis so hard and u feel like they're going to explode, that's what's like with me.
    Should i worry?

I feel the exact way... It`s the first time i`m feeling it and that`s why i`m
attribuating it to test or deca!

Is it coincidence that i only get this while i'm on a test/deca cycle?
I believe it's related with test or deca....in the end of my current cycle i'll be using just test prop...So this will make things clear, if it's not test, then it's deca, that's what i believe.

Another thing to consider is that your lower back muscles are still working even when your standing. The only time they rest is when you're flat on your back like magic said. So even though you may have finished your set, they're still working to support you.

I think its pretty likely that they're just pumps.
