Thread: Best Face Cleaner

    Best Face Cleaner

Well, I have mild acne, nothing too bad.

I am currently using Neutragena Oil Free Face Wash.

The red bumps are slim to none, but blackheads are still kinda there.

Any good face wash better than the stuff Im using?

I wanna rid of the blackheads.

I have the same blackhead problem. Well, I did. Try "Blackhead Clearing Scrub" by Clean & Clear and "Blemish and Blackhead Control" by St. Ives Apricot Scrub. They worked very well for me. Good luck.

I went to the dermo today.....and she gave me Retin-A Micro Gel

And Im suppose to put it on at night...but just a little, she said its pretty powerful stuff....

Also, Im gonna try some of that St. Ives stuff....

But quick question, is the St. Ives for blackheads alone? Or is it a good overall face wash?

Yea,i thought they were same thing...my skin type, normal skin tone, not fair not dark, tan fairly easily...somewhat sensitive skin...my girlfriend got me into some girly pond's face moisturizer, which i like, but i know there's better stuff for men...maybe something that prevents wrinkles, and keeps skin firm,tight?..im only 23,no wrinkles or anything like that, but itd be nice to keep them off as long as possible...and i fvcking hate when my skin feels dry

I LOVE dermalogica active moist. Expensive, but worth it.

That Retin-A microgel is good stuff...I used to use it a few years ago when I had acne. It dried my skin out but it works.

exfoliating should be done only a couple times a week to fluff off dead skin

cells. irratation if used more frequent. if you have the money go with

dermalogica-thats was ethsticians use. the website gives recomendations for

every skin type. its good stuff. try www.whatgreatskin.com for good prices.

u can get it at any upper beuty store also. stuff in stores is crap.

    I like CleanandClear products.

For daily face washing try the " Daily Pore Cleansing Pads" ( on one side it have the scrubbing micro scrubbers and other side is a moisturizer)>>>http://cleanandclear.com/products/fa...eanspads.shtml

For your acne try clean and clear " advantage acne cleanser)>>http://cleanandclear.com/products/fa...cleanser.shtml

blackhead: clean and clear " blackhead clearing scrub" I'll recommend to get the cleansing daily pads though. >>>http://cleanandclear.com/products/fa...ead_pads.shtml

facial soap = Cetaphil (mild but dermatoligist 1 recommended)

acne treatment = BenzaClin good but Expensive

dry skin lotion for face and aftershave lotion = Biore Pore Perfect Shine Control Moisterizer (excellent)

(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) A new product for oil based steriod users are these wipes from Clean and Clear called Oil Absorbing sheets (removes excess oil from face and you'll be suprised how much oil you have on your face when you look onto the wipe.

Another product I bout was a mechanical hand held device that you put right on the pimple called Zeno. It's pricey as well but it works. Bottom line if it's a problem for you and it bothers you like it does me. Your gonna pay for the stuff that's gonna work.

Also a helpgull hint if you pop a pimple by accident by washing or whatever put some rubbing alchol on that area and pimple immediatley so it doesn't spread to other areas.

I do need a bar sop for shoulders and or backne. I only use reg soap. Any suggestions!! I've seen a few on here that I might try out. Another thing is that loufa or whatever that gets rid of all the dead skin cells and excess bumps on your soulders and upper back.
