How many Heavy days in a row do most of you go before taking a light day for that muscle group??
I hardly ever utilize a light day for most muscle groups and i am wondering if i should start doing it.

I hardly ever utilize a light day for most muscle groups and i am wondering if i should start doing it.
the only time i lighten up as far as weight and sets is if i have some pain. it's usually in my shoulders.
I run Westside, so I have 2 heavy days and 2 lighter days per week, with the heavy days being max effort and the lighter days being speed work. I think this works well for increasing volume without constantly pounding the CNS with heavy weight.
