    Dumb question?

Hey, I haven't been doing abs for a few years now cause I'm naturally slim-
(6'2", 200 lbs) and didn't think it was that critical. But lately I've noticed my belly sticking out more than it used to (age, gravity). This is prolly a dumb question but will ab exercises pull that shit in or will they just give me a strong belly that still sticks out. I've gotta take care of this, it's trippin me out. Oh, I'm about 10% Bf and 32 yrs old btw.
    Thanx.

if you are at 10% bf you will be able to see you abs pretty good. 10% is usually where the six pack starts to show good. id focus more on your diet and cardio rather then what types of ab routine you are doing. diet and cardio is much more crucial.

agreed. train your abs for sure. but it is diet and cardio which equates to low bodyfat, which is a must if you want a toned midsection. me myself am lagging in my stomach region, and need to sort the problem out. currently bulking, so will wait until i am cutting to really start nailing them

I agree about the dieting/cardio to lower BF to see the abs, but what about the stomach muscles themselves? Now that I'm older I'm hoping hitting my abs for awhile will tighten and pull my stomach back in. I guess my abs are just lazy and letting gravity have it's way with them. I just hope I don't end up with one of those big, round but strong belly's that stick out.

how big are the meals you are eating? eating large meals can stretch your stomach, making it stick out, even with low bodyfat

Yeah, I never really thought about that. I usually gorge myself to where my
stomach does stick out after I eat. I bet it has stretched that shit out over time! I'll start eating less but more often, which is what I should be doing anyway. My job now doesn't help either, lot's of sitting. I used to run a commercial fishing boat in AK and I don't remember it looking bad then compared to now. Anyway, Thanks for the responses.

what they said has alot to do with it.

but yeah some people have distended guts, even without gh. it happens. and usually theres nothing you can do besides surgery. but working on core muscles should tighten everything up.
