    Recommendations for a noob.

Hey guys im sure to get flamed for this and told to go look shit up for myself but ive been reading my ass off on anabolics and there is far too much information on far too many drugs to gather it all in a reasonable time so ill throw it to you who know a thing or two to help out. Im not looking to gain to become a bodybuilder or to have 1% bodyfat and be ripped beyond belief but im finding it extremely hard to gain lean mass or mass in general. Im 23, 6'2", 185lbs and in decent shape. I fought with cancer when i was 17 and lost a testicle and some lymph nodes as a result. My doctor tells me the remaining teste compensates for testosterone production from the lost one but i believe that i am somewhat short on testosterone levels and its keeping me from increasing in bulk. Ive worked out continuously for a year straight and saw very minor increases in size with moderate strength gains. Im looking for a short cycle recommendation with a relatively low threat of side effects that will increase lean mass. Im open to supplement recommendations as well as anabolic. If anybody has the time and expertise to give me some good information on how to better deal with this problem i would greatly appreciate it. Diet, gear, precautions, and PCT recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Congrats on beating that ugly disease bro...i suggest you post your diet on the diet forum and your workout on the trainig forum and we can help you there....At the weight of 185 you're not ready for AAS...but you can learn ...in the meantime prep your body with the nutrition and hard training.

    Well I won't flame ya...WELCOME TO AR

With your stats, I would try to get yoru diet in check first. There is an excellant diet forum here to help you with that. Check out the bulking diets. You have to eat right to grow right.

Second, one year of solid training is NO where near enough time to get a solid base BEFORE considering using AAS.

Also 1% bodyfat is unrealistic and extremely unhealthy. Contest bodybuilders are usually around 3% for contests only. The body needs some fat to survive.

You are about a year or two away from being ready to use AAs if you get your diet and training in line better. If you can be patient and do it the RIGHT way.

First cycles should always be single ester testosterone ONLY. but we can get into that AFTER you check out the DIET and TRAINING forums.

What the SMAN said plus...... I think before I would even consider Test or juice of any kind you better have a long hard chat with your Oncologist and talk to him about the chances of the cancer being affected by the Test. Or at the very least do a shitload of research with Google first.

No i have not but i go in for another checkup within a couple weeks and intend to find out for sure.

good to know. Havnt come across that info til now.

By diet are we asking Calories, Carbs, Fats, and Proteins? Or foods specifically or just general diet? To elaborate a tad Ive been eating primarily protein and trying to break down some of the body fat i had built up from not working out this last quarter. I was 198lbs and dropped to 187 in about 2 weeks of daily heavy bag drills & sparring and every other day lifting. Thanks again guys! Unbelievable response time. On my way to diet forums as well.

When we ask about diet, we want to know your eating habits and what you know about how to properly eat to gain muscle/lose fat
basically you need to be eating 6-8 meals everyday, spaced every 2.5-3 hours apart consisting each of the proper amount of Proteins, Good carbs, and yes fat
The specific calories and breakdown for each meal is dependant on your goals and other factors. You will get all that in the diet forum. Too much to try to type here.
