Is it possible for the steroid to not go in the muscle and just hang out right under ur skin? cause in my arms i have like a 2inch circle around where i injected and the skin has gotten real thick and itches from time to time ... been there for about 2 days ... seems like its goin away a lil bit tho, not sure if its somethin to worry about or not ...

its a lil red ... red enough u can barely see it ... nu uh ... doesnt burn at all inless it starts itchin and i have to sit and itch it for about 2 min and then it goes away and then i feel normal again

what length pin did you use?

not sure exact length but it looks about 3/4 of an inch rough guess ... its just a normal 1cc siringe

yeah is possible a buddy had that once.. he did not inject into the muscle but the fat tissue.. Some of the oil was encapsulated and he had a lump of the size of a golf ball on his delt.. This is not dangerous but an unpleasant condition - cosmetically.

I would advise to massage it often, so the oil can not be encapuslated and apply low heat (warm shower, heat packs..)

If its get red AND you get fever you most likely have an abscess.. then its time to head to the ER

yea i see ... well its not even swelled up much at all ... but when i put my arms straight out its bigger then normal if thats wat u mean

Dude same thing happened w/me in my glute. I used a 1 incher and think I got it in the fat tissue. Damn thing swelled and was sore for a week. F'in hurts to sit down, and had to sleep on my stomach. Doesn't sound like you have to worry about an absess. Just have to ride it out, shoot with a longer pin, or go deeper w/the pins u r using.
