    arginine on empty stomach dilemma

    All NO supps state that they are best taken on an empty stomach about 45 mins prior to training. They also advise you not to eat or take any whey within an hour of taking the supp. My dilemma is surely training on an empty stomach is bad. Wouldnt it be better to just forget the NO and train with a pre workout shake or would you ignore the advice and take the arginine with whey or whole food? Any thoughts????

    any of those preworkout supplements give me a stomach ache on an empty stomach..plus I personally like carbs before a workout, although, I have gone on just coffee in a workout but when I get done I feel like shiaaatttt.

    I've been supplementing my diet w/ arginine...if I workout in the morning I'll take 3g a half hour before breakfast,eat, wait another hour then go workout. If I lift in the afternoon sometime I'll eat, wait an hour take 3g arginine then wait another half hour and go lifting...Don't really notice a difference in either but maybe thats because I've been taking 9g a day (3g 3x per day)...thats my .02!

    Hmm maybe ill try on empty in the morning then just take it with my grapefruit juice and Dbol 1/2 hour before workout.

    I was told to take it before bed - i take mine 2 hours before bed (This is the one supplement i have taken consistently.)

    i have no problem before bed and on waking its just that i wanted to use it pre workout for a good pump.
