So, my job's hours go by demand. Since the demand for people working evenings went up, then changed me from working days (9-5:30) to evenings (3-11:30)
So I'm pissed. I HATE working evenings.
Not only that, but I've never had a weekend off. I used to teach Sunday school, so I had static Sundays off. Since I never worked a Sunday, they expect me to work every Saturday. My other day off is usually a horrible day off that I can never do anything with like tuesday or wednesday. They could atleast give me Monday off, so I could have two days off in a row.
Since I started there, I only had a Saturday off if I called in sick. They never approve my vacation for saturdays, so I just call in sick instead.
I really do hate my job aswell. I can't stand working in a call center. I do tech support for an internet company, and it sucks! Everyone employees and customers are rude, and horrible to deal with.
Now I am applying for a government job, and am going through the screening right now. I have a written test to take next week, and a physical test to take at the end of this month. Then I have a background check, which I know I will pass, in September.
What my question is:
Should I quit, or try and stick it out the next three months before my new jobs training starts.
