    How do you know?

I hear people talk about torn rotator cuffs like its something that everyone gets at one time.

How do you know when your rotator cuff is torn?

I would seem to me that a torn cuff would be very painful. One would think that you couldn't move your arm without alot of pain.

    thanks

an mri is the onlyway to tell fo sure, if it is a slight tear, it wont be extreemly painful and could be rehabed with a few simple exercises and no surgery, if it is a grade 4 or grade 5 tear, it will require surgery
