It stopped shedding alot. I used it off and on. The key though is to stay on it and not take breaks inbetween using it. I've been back on it now again for about 4 months. I haven't noticed any hair regrowth, but I've definately noticed that very few hairs fall off of my head when I brush my hand over my head.
The best combo would be finasteride or avodart along w/minoixidol. I just use finasteride b/c it's cheaper than avodart and probably about as effective. avodart is better if you can afford it. The minoxidol is just too messy for me.
I had my doctor proscribe Proscar instead of Propecia, their both finasteride, just that Proscar is marketed for prostate health (BPH). Prop is in 1 mg pills, Prosc is in 5 mg pills. Get a pill cutter and you will save yourself plenty of money.
I'm gonna keep taking the pills until there is a more permanent solution to balding.
My hair started thinning out when I was 24, just about to turn 25. I jumped on Proscar, more cost-efficient like Hans said, and the thinning definitely slowed down. BTW, I believe you can thank your mother for the hair problems.

I'm under 25 and have been using fina for a few months now after tremendous thinning from my last cycle. I must that my hair has thicken up substantially and my hairline is almost completely restored believe it or not. I'm not sure if it's from the fina as I use several other products as well, but I'm definitely very happy from it.
Yes. I started at 25 and probably will be using it the rest of my life or until the day I don't give a fuk about what I look like.
Great results for me as well.
It's always best to use Finasteride as a means of prevention and not to wait until the damage is done. There must be something better in the pipeline, so be patient and use that until something better
I'm 20 years old and started using finasteride just before I turned 20. I was thinning a lot and my doc decided to put me on propecia. I am definately losing a lot less hair than I used to and my mom, who is a hairdresser, has also said that my head is starting to fill in again. I am 100% natural so none of my balding was related to AAS in anyway.
I am 34 an its getting worst.
What about hair growth and finastride? or propecia
It takes about 3 months to see hair growth from finasteride. Fina and propecia are the same thing. Propecia is the brand name while fina is the chemical name.
supposedly the younger you are the more likely minoxidil will work and finasteride
