Not sure whats up here with my shoulders...

Ok my shoulders have been realy really good but, it seems that ever since my deca kicked in, they are getting very tired and sore easily when doing my chest WO though I am not jumping up dramatically in weights or anything.

I have to ice my shoulders after each chest WO and sometiems my back WOs to ease the sever soreness/tiredness of the joints.

My muscels being exhausted is not what is ending the WO, me being so sore in the shoulders does.

Anyone have a clue what the hell is up?

    Doc any suggestions?

the wk off should help, but that blows my mind, it has to have something to do with the routine itself, have you changed anything?what is your volume like?give me a run down of the program, reps sets days, etc etc etc

The only thing I can think of is it is due to:

    a. and increase blood flow to that area causing this discomfort

    and/or

    b. My muscles arent experiencing exhaustion as soon as they would have and the joints have not adapted to the increased load, all be it slight.

also on .5 mg ldex ED.

I was thinking of just having really long rest persiods of like 2-3 minutes instead of my usual 30 sec-1 min also??

i think the extra rest will help alot, the time btwn the sets may be the cause, your volume doesnt look bad at all, but i think taking a few minutes btwn a set is needed, escpecialy with higher reps

Take a week or two off and chill with the heavy ass weight on chestdays, probably causing you to do improper form.. I had the same problem, when I lightened the weight and started actually doing the movement 100% correct it fixed itself over time and my chest started developing much more.

Just a thought.. btw go see a sports doctor as well and get their take on it or hire a well-known/well educated trainer for a month.

There isnt a "sports doctor" for 159 miles of where I am

The weight might be an issue. I might be jumpin up too quick.

Another week sounds good too. dont feel much better and I lift tomorrow.

Same here, plus I get this idea in my head I am gonna start losing my gains if I take off for more than three days.

I train every Third day and I'm far from losing my gains.. it's very beneficial to allow your body appropriate time to recooperate.. Every 6-8wks I take 10days off completely.
