    help with my lat

it seems like my left lat is weeker then my right. the only time i notice it is when i do db rows/single cable rows. Ive never had this problem in the past. My left shoulder has always given my problems and sometimes when doing db rows it feels like my shoulder fatigues before my lat.

I started training my left one first but should i add a set to my left or just keep trainign it first? There is also no diff in appearance. Just strength

I think strength imbalances are best addressed through good form. If one side is stronger and you use perfect form, the weaker side should slowly catch up because it is having a harder time. Over a few months your strength should equalise if you have good form. I had this problem with dumbell curls at one point because one side was stronger, but since dropping that exercise and doing perfect form with u/h pullups and u/h rows, my biceps are actually now the same strength on dumbells. Try using a mirror when you exercise, so then you can check out your form and your pump, but just be sure not to strain your neck looking in the mirror. So that people don't think you're really vain maybe just take occasional glances, or don't use a mirror at all and just really concentrate?

Of course, it is natural to have one side that is stronger than the other, and usually it is your dominant side that is stronger

So are you saying drop single row movements? or still do them but use lighter weight with both sides so that my left side can catch up?

If you like single row movements still do them, they are great for the rhomboids and middle traps. Use a weight that is perfect for your weaker side, and do the same reps for your stronger side even if you can do more.

I was only doing them so I could catch up my left side. I was reading a mag and it mentioned that when using both sides at the same time during a lift the stronger side can do to much of the work/the work that the weeker side cannot do. whoknows. the only time i have a problem is with single row movements. fvcking shoulder

Good point about the lift, single arm movements could help but so will form I think even on lifts involving both sides. Dont worry too much about strength differences, everybody has them.
